My son drew a picture of what he wanted his costume to look like - exactly. Here it is, out of some nasty acetate lining fabric I had in the stash. Top is lined in flannel for warmth and body and pants are lined in some soft cotton.
Thank you both. Yes, I was good and stayed true to his drawing. For once I was careful not to inject my ideas. I fused those diamonds on with Steam a Seam Lite - as long as it holds up all day tomorrow at school. It even has wool crepe covered buttons that I found in my button stash!
