First ever nuno piece!

Click here to see Kathy Colt's blog where you'll see me working hard on this piece. Click here, too.

This is the result of my first ever nuno workshop. It was lots of fun although I admit I am very sore from all the rolling. You can't see it in the photo, but the silk gauze background fabric is sheer and has become rusched (pleated).

Gorgeous results!

So, are you saying that you've suffered for your art?

Oh yes, my poor body is suffering, but not my heart or mind! It was lots of fun, but part of the problem was the height of the table. The artist is nearly 6feet and I am almost 5 feet. Maybe a lower table height would have helped with the rolling.
