Covering up a moth hole with needle felting

My sister's boiled wool jacket had a pretty good sized moth eaten hole in the sleeve. I covered it up with needlefelting and some embroidery.

A painting done long ago

I've broken out in hives and have had to rest a lot. So here's an old painting of irises.

And here's Coco again, getting used to the house and us.

New scarves being born

gingko leaves and hibiscus tropical
I accidentally painted the background of this gingko leaves scarf with a dye containing some corn syrup. Therefore many of the gutta lines did not hold and after steaming, removing the gutta and washing, I think I'll pole "overdye" the scarf to see what it'll look like.
Asian swirls

Work in progress; more swirls
Lots of colors
Colorful pebbles

I lost my mom to cancer

My mom died of cancer 20th of Oct. My sisters and I took care of her 24/7 and she passed away quietly. Here's a pic of my mother age probably 17-ish, and with newborn me at age 24. That's me buck naked.

From my mother I learned to use my hands, or get my hands into everything. I owe her a lot. This is an embroidery she did probably when I was around 5 or younger. I loved to dream about this mysterious world and would stare at it for hours.

Happy scarves

Well, maybe the one on the far left is kind of "Nightmare Before Xmas-ish"

The pink one here has been given as a gift.
