Recycled Garment Challenge

This jacket and top was made out of old clothing mostly 100% linen. This includes 2 linen skirts, 2 men's linen blend shirts, 1 metallic fabric blend jacket, 1 pair of linen pants. The buttons are also those that were on these garments.

The embellishing is still in progress. This is a Diane Ericson (Revisions) pattern called Fault Lines. It is a jacket and a sleeveless top (shown underneath the jacket).

Floral Breeze and Lunar Eclipse designs

These wax resist dyed pieces came out reminding me of floral breezes and lunar eclipses. Or perhaps meteor showers and soap bubbles???

This is so much fun.

Two pieces for "Transformation Show" done

These are two pieces for our Fiber Art Fusion group show in July called "Transformation." I have yet to title them at this moment, but they are done after hours and hours of beading.

I have been busy sewing on tons of beads on these silk pieces. Many more hours to go.
